My name is Kait Salmon and I am a 25-year old makeup artist from Orange County, California! I started posting about makeup and beauty products on Instagram (@hippiesandlippies) and YouTube a little over a year agoâ€?/span>just as a passion project!  From there I started freelancing and collaborating with brands to create new makeup looks and test new products.  My mantra in the beauty community is from poet Khalil Gibran: "Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart."  My goal in life is to be a role model for men and women of all walks of life to love what they do, to embrace their differences, and to remember they are beautiful just as long as they keep their light shining bright!  I am blessed to be a part of this beauty community where I can influence those around me with positivity and artistry!
